The Residency Program in Cardiothoracic Surgery is a rigorous and comprehensive postgraduate training program designed to prepare physicians for independent practice in adult cardiac surgery. Our mission is to cultivate surgical leaders with exceptional technical expertise, clinical judgment, and academic excellence.
The program provides in-depth exposure to the surgical treatment of cardiovascular and thoracic diseases, combining hands-on operative experience with cutting-edge academic instruction and research opportunities. Residents are trained in open heart surgery, minimally invasive and robotic cardiac techniques and mechanical circulatory support.
Training with renowned international cardiac surgions
Exposure to minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery, heart and lung transplantations, circulatory support (LVAD, ECMO)
Hands-on experience in Adult Cardiac surgery: Coronary Artery Bypass, Aortic Valve, Mitral Valve Replacement and Reconstructive Surgery, Aorta Ascendens, Mycsoma, re-do Cardiac Surgery, surgical treatment of heart rhythm desorders and mini invasive cardiac surgery
